Yeah I'm doing another story aswell new name for this guy and completely different idea and setting.  My name's Golding, well full name's Chris Golding, but my friends nickname me Golding. I tend to contradict myself into weird situations, like this time I had no money and someone lent me something on the lines of ten Pokebucks, never gave him it back as a matter of fact it turns out he's a Biker Bully that lives in Kanto, oops. I am just turning 17 this week, but it doesn't really bother me, another year, a higher age.
I set off from my home town of New Bark Town about half a year ago, was a lone child, brought up with my mother, good thing too! If i hadn't I'd probably end up like that scum from over the road from where I live. Good job I moved away when I did, they were breeding some big Mightyena's. Rough bunch of pricks. I now am currently living in Violet city with my Uncle.
My team is based of a style that has been traditionally carried on in my family. I carry around a Cyndaquil and a Larvitar. All handed from my mother in eggs because from where we live it's all about the breeding. Since she's on her own, she has on her team a Typhlosion and a Tyranitar, too very loyal Pokemon.
As I guide you through how to be the best at what we do, make sure you take notes. Cause then you can be the very best and one day face me! |

Me: Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.
Uncle: Wake up..NOW!
Cyndaquil and Larvitar jump up in fright, Chris carries on snoring.
Uncle: You better wake up now, or I'll get my Pichu and get him to shock you!
Chris jumps up, puts his clothes on, and returns Cyndaquil and Larvitar to their Pokeballs.
Me: What time is it Uncle Sam?
Uncle: About 9:30 but none of that matters because your getting your first badge today, and as soon as you get that badge you can get out of here and continue your journey. On the talk of badges, have you even picked the badge case I ordered for you or even your trainer card?
Me: Damn it! I knew there was a reason for checking the time, best head over there quick!
Chris puts his trainers on, grabs his Pokegear and his lucky silk scarf, and heads out the door. As soon as he heads out the door, he is surrounded by beautiful green trees with Caterpie swarming around them. He is greeted to the smell of fresh morning dew. It's quiet, but also beautiful at the same time. The sun beams shine onto Golding's face as he walks to the Mart. As he arrives at the mart, the Biker Bully that lives in Kanto shows up and at the same time Falkner arrives. Falkner then hands the Biker Bully a badge and says 'Congratulations on beating me earlier' The Biker Bully puts the badge in the badge case and says to Golding, 'If you don't get me that money now, you'll have to face me in a battle. I suddenly replied, 'Why don't we just battle then!'. The biker Bully then smiles and throws his Pokeball and out comes a Skarmory
SKARRRRRRRRRR!
I don't know why he sent that out, well saying that he doesn't know what Pokemon I have. But think wisely Chris! THINK THINK!
Go, LARVITAR!!
Larrrrr Viiiiii TARRRRR!!
Me:Larvitar attack him with rock slide!
Biker: Skarmory dodge it, then hit it with steel wing!
Me: Dodge it Larvitar, hit him with Rock Blast!!
Biker: Come on Skarmory your winning, use aerial ace!
Me: You ok Larvitar? Good. Get on its back and use Rock Slide!
The attack hits Skarmory with full power and sends him flying down to the ground. The Biker returns Skarmory to it's Pokeball and say's to Chris 'Remember my name, Kage.' He gets his backpack on and jumps on his bike and rides off into what looks to be the next route. I return Larvitar to its Pokeball, and head inside the shop.
Shop Assistant: Your parcel has arrived Golding.
Me: Thanks for saving it for me.
Shop Assistant: It's ok Golding, is there anything else you want whilst your here?
Me: Have you got a map of Johto?
Shop Assistant: I'm afraid we just sold the last one.
Me: I'm guessing Kage?
Shop Assistant: No not at all, it was a guy named Lance. He said something about heading to Olivine City as he didn't know his way there.
Me: Ok thanks.
As I walked towards the door, Falkner comes up to me and say's 'Golding, after seeing that battle outside, I can't wait for our Gym Battle, but I'm busy until tomorrow afternoon if you want to have it then?' I nodded exhaustingly. 'Good, I expect the best battle of my life to be around half nine tomorrow morning!' I smiled and walked towards my Uncle's knowing that I will be facing Falkner! |

After a long, hard week of waiting to face Falkner, Golding is finally ready to take him on. Chris exits his Uncle's house with a smile on his face. On his way to the Gym, Daniel Golding (Golding's Dad) shows up.
Dad: I'm exhausted after running all the way from New Bark Town, never been this out of shape in my life!
Me: That's why you should be a little more active you lazy man!
Dad: Don't get cheeky with me son!
Me: Haha, why did you run this far anyway.
Dad: Well I'm fishing for Chinchou today
Me: Oh cool. Well I'm facing Falkner today!
Dad: Good luck Chris!
Me: Thanks, how long will you be there for?
Dad: Most of the day like always
Me: Well if I'm not tired by then I'll have a walk round. See if theres some cool Pokemon I can catch!
Dad: Well I'll catch you later son!
Me: See you later Dad!
My Dad has to be the most famous fisherman in Johto. He is known for winning the biggest fishing competition in the world! He has on his team a Quilava and Pupitar! They are very strong. He is also known for pulling out the biggest Magikarp in the world, and when I say big, I MEAN MASSIVE !But today I need to do one thing and that is beat Falkner!
Chris entered the Gym and stood there waiting was none other than Falkner. He looked determined and Chris knew he was gonna have to pull out all the stops. Falkner says 'I'll send out mine first then you can send out yours'. I replied 'Ok, give it your all Falkner!'
He sends out this Pokemon to start off;
I smirk, knowing the one that can take Pidgey down is none other than,
Cyndaquil comes out the ball ready for battle!
Falkner: Use gust Pidgey, then fly into the air and hit aerial ace.
Me: Cyndaquil dodge and use flamethrower!
Falkner: Come on Pidgey use steel wing!
Me: Oh no, you alright Cyndaquil! Good now get up and use fire fang!
It sends Pidgey flying back into Falkners arms! His Pidgey begins to glow as Falkner smiles in happiness.
Falkner: Pidgey's evolving, woah!
The glowing stops and standing there was this;
I was amazed as I never would think this would happen in a middle of a battle! It looked elegant and graceful as it flew up into the sky!
Falkner: You wanna continue Pidgeotto? Ok return Pidgeotto! Come on out Zubat!!
Me: What a beautiful Zubat you have there Falkner!
Falkner: That's what years of training do!
Me: Haha. Return Cyndaquil! Come on out Larvitar!
Falkner: Zubat use Wing Attack
Me: Dodge it and use Rock Slide!
Falkner: Dodge it then fly in with a wing attack!
Me: You ok Larvitar? Good. Now use the move we tried a few months back! Use Stone Edge!!
Falkner: NOOOOOOOO!
Zubat falls to the ground with great force! The battle had finished, and Golding had won!
Me: Is your Zubat ok? Or did it just faint cause of how good my Pokemon are?
Falkner: Your cocky!
Me: And I know that aswell!
Falkner: Do you want the badge?
Me: Sure do!
Falkner: Here then, and also take this!
Falkner hands him over the badge and also gives him a box. Golding opens it to see a brand spanking new fishing rod!
Me: Thank you Falkner!
Falkner: Well you put up a great battle!
Me: Thank you alot!
Chris says his goodbyes grabs his bag then walks out! He heads out and sees his dad once again. Golding says'
Me: Sorry I couldn't get there to fish with you! How about we go fishing tomorrow!
Dad: Thats great son. I need to get some Chinchou. Didn't catch any today, they were being funny buggers once again
Me: Well it's a plan, come to Uncle Sam's at about 12:00.
Dad: Sure. Gotta go, see you later!
Me: See you later then!
His dad runs off with his rod on his back. And Golding heads back into his Uncle's think about what tomorrow may bring....

Loving this, you obviously learned from when we were doing it together  Anyway, the mid battle evolution was a nice add, worked well. The whole battle was very good, but would have been nice to have some more stuff happen before the gym, but that's just me being picky Like how you and your dad are close(well, close enough to go fishing ) Looking forward to next part  |

Haha thanks. It's not good to rush in with a 6 person team before the first badge! Should be fun this journey when it gets deep in. Plan on doing something I've been planning on for a while now if you catch what I'm saying |

I wonder what water Pokemon we may hook onto! Once this day is over, I will be camping in the next route ready to set off on my journey!'
Golding says his goodbyes and heads out, he walks over towards the Gym and waits outside for his father. His father comes running out of no-where saying how there's a massive Poliwhirl bullying all the Chinchou, we need your help!

Chris then walks round sends out Larvitar and destroys the Poliwhirl, he then starts a battle with one of the Chinchou, and only just catches it with three clicks of the Pokeball.
